Kern visits New Kijkduin

Kern, established in 1986 as NRW Dutch Council Shopping Centres, is the knowledge and network organisation for all stakeholders involved in operating and revitalizing centre areas. These can be city and town centres, as well as neighbourhood proximity centres, multi-functional transport hubs, and edge of town locations.

Kijkduin, a unique place with a long history, is now being developed into a fantastic family beach area where people not only enjoy the sea, but there are apartments and facilities for local residents and visitors.

Kern says architect Willem Joost de Vries of TconcepT gave interesting insight with Tconcept’s vision on urban development and place making.
