With 60,000 m2 and over 11.5 million visitors, Zuidplein shopping centre in Rotterdam is one of the largest indoor shopping centres in the Netherlands. And perhaps more importantly; It fulfils a very important role as a meeting place in this part of Rotterdam. SCN interviewed TconcepT about the major challenges involved in the renovation of Zuidplein and how they were successfully tackled. SCN sees TconcepT’s renovation of Zuidplein as an example for other older shopping centres.
